1 Cup parboiled rice
½ Chopped onion
1 Chopped La Costeña Jalapeño Pepper
6 La Costeña Red Jalapeño slices, chopped
¼ Tablespoon of ground thyme
1 Can La Costeña Whole Black Beans
Heat a little oil and sauté the rice and the onion together until golden or transparent. Add 1 cup of water and when it comes to a boil, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients. Check seasoning. Cover again and simmer until the rice is cooked.
